Demonstrators in Manhattan, New York City condemned the Trump administration for the arrest and possible deportation of Mahmoud Khalil. On Thursday, Khalil attended an immigration court hearing in Louisiana where his lawyers tried preventing Khalil from deportation. Khalil, a recent Columbia University graduate, was one of the leading demonstrators during last year�s pro-Palestine protests at the university.
